Tourist Attractions in St. John

"Study nature, love nature, stay close to nature. It will never fail you."

Frank Lloyd Wright

Go to St. John. You will be able to study nature, love nature and stay close to nature. Almost two third of this small isle is covered by United States national park. And if such huge greenery has given enough soothing to your eyes, then come to the golden beaches of this isle. This is place where nature itself takes care of the beauty. That's why Tourist Attractions in St. John chiefly consist of natural beauty and landscape. Discover a slice of paradise in this beautiful spot in the Caribbean Sea.

Many visitors expend time at Cruz Bay, where the ferryboat docks. This township has attractive bars, restaurants, boutiques, and pastel-painted houses. Though it's a bit quiet, but relaxing after the fast pace of St. Thomas.

Most cruise-ship travelers dart through Cruz Bay and are on course for the island's biggest draw, Virgin Islands National Park. The park totals 12,624 acres including submerged lands and water adjacent to St. John, and has more than 20 miles of hiking trails to explore.

Other major sights on the island include Trunk Bay, one of the world's most beautiful beaches, and Fort Berg, at Coral Bay. Fort Berg served as the foundation for the soldiers who cruelly crushed the 1733 slave revolt. Finally, try to make time for the Annaberg Ruins, where the Danes maintained a booming plantation and sugar mill after 1718. On certain days of the week, guided walks of the area are given by park rangers.

So make a trip to this gorgeous island and experience a perfect getaway. Travour.com offers information on Tourist Attractions in St. John and Romantic vacations in St. John. For more information on St. John and other islands worldwide, keep browsing through Travour.
