Weather in Borneo

Borneo is the largest island of Asia and the third largest in the world. It is located north of Java and east of Sumatra. The island has one of the most popular islands here. Borneo also has one of the oldest rainforests in the world. That is the reason the island is rich in flora and fauna.

Humidity is also high there rainfall often exceed 4,000 mm per annum. May through September is the peak season for visiting the island and generally speaking weather here is not much predictable. One should be ready for sudden rainfall. November through March is the wettest months in the tourist destination.
