Cocos Island

This spectacular island lies on the Merizo Island Reef. The area is largely uninhabited and has abundant natural beauty. One needs to sail a few miles south of Guam to reach the place. The first thing that’ll strike when you set foot on the land is the cacophony of birds! The casurina forest and mixed jungle area is home to a variety of bird species. You’ll see Micronesian starlings in great numbers. Several bird species come to this part of the world seasonally.


The best part of embarking on day tours to Cocos Island is to go snorkelling or beach combing. Snorkelling in these waters is great fun, you can come close to sea cucumbers and tiny multi-colored fishes. The abundant and colourful marine life offers a great experience.
