Ritidan Point

If you wish to experience the tropical bonanza that Guam really is, consider visiting the lovely Ritidan Point. It undoubtedly is one of Guam's major tourist attractions. The area is part of the Guam National Wildlife Refuge. The place lies on the edge of a plateau below limestone cliffs.

The best way to enter the paradise is to set out walking from the Nature Centre. The unspoilt beach is a great place for sun bathing and family picnics. If you trek further into the forest you'll come across various scenic spots where you can camp for the day.

The beach deserves a special mention. It is a great place to observe corals and even colourful fish that can easily bee seen from the shores. The changing color of the sea water creates spectacular natural vistas.

For those with a streak for adventure, there is a limestone cliff close to the spot. You can trek up with a guide, of course you'll require prior permission from the local authorities. As you walk along you'll come to a stunning set of shallow caves. The art work on the walls of these hill caves are hundreds of years old.
