Tourist Attractions in Madagascar

Nosy Managabe is one of Madagascar's well-kept natural secrets. The nature reserve lies on an isolated island mass that is approachable only by boat. It lies at a distance of 2 kilometers from the Maroantsetra. It is an integral part of the Masoala National Park Complex. The island's unspoilt beaches lead to dense tropical forests abundant in palms, pandanus and buttress trees.

The historic legacy and natural splendour of the island makes it one of Madagascar's favorite tourist attractions. And if you wish to spot one of these, we suggest you book a stay at the only campsite on the reserve. The reserve is home to the endangered Aye-Aye. The animal was close to extinction! Mainly because the local Malagasy harbour negative superstition and have for generations preferred to kill the animal at sight!
