Jamaica Ferry

Tourists to Kingston can hop on to a speedy catamaran to Port Royal. Port Royal is an important tourist destination. This is where you come in contact with Jamaica’s colonial history.Port Royal is known as the “wickedest city on Earth,” the very mention conjures up images of pirates and their historic exploits. The archaeological sites are a must visit. Once upon a time Port Royal was an island. The fishing village is now linked to mainland Jamaica through a series of small cays. You can easily hitch a cab ride to Port Royal but there is nothing like experiencing the thirty minute ferry ride. Definitely an experience you’ll remember! The scenic views are worth the ride.

Port Antonio also has a ferry; it travels to and from Navy Island 24 hours a day. Flynn once owned Navy Island and, though it is now slated for development, it is a great picnic spot for vacationers hoping to enjoy the natural scenery of Jamaica. The ferry ride is only a short seven minutes.
