Reunion Ferry

Reunion is a French island in the Indian Ocean located to the east of Madagascar and the south west of Mauritius. The island has a tropical climate and gifted with amazing natural beauty including white sandy beaches. It is known for its mountain scenery. Tourists can reach the island by boat from both the ends- Madagascar and Mauritius. The Mauritius Trochetia and the Mauritius Pride are two ferry services that carry passengers here. A number of cruiseliners also dock their ships on the island so you can also reach here on one of these ships. Boats and ships could also be availed to explore the local attractions on the island.

Taxi and buses are readily available on the island. Travelling by taxis is slightly more expensive than other modes of transport. Intercity buses could also be availed to reach major tourists destinations. Car hire is also available for tourists. Since there are high number of cars, traffic jam is quite common. You could avoid peak hours for smooth travel.
