Grenada

Grenada is an island like a beautiful spot in the southeastern Caribbean Sea. Being the second-smallest independent country in the Western Hemisphere, it is situated north of Trinidad and Tobago, and south of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. A punch of French, African and Indian influences creates the unique culture of Grenada. It's a land of music, dance and festivals. Enjoy the annual Carnival activities comprised of soca, calypso, and reggae.

About 80% of the inhabitants are the generation of the African slaves brought by the Europeans. About 12% are descendants of the Indian indentured emigration to St. Lucia and Grenada.

Here the official language is English which is spoken by virtually everyone. Apart from a minor community of Rastafarians living in Grenada, nearly all are Christians. Most Churches have denomination-based schools but are open to all. There is also a small Muslim population mostly from Gujarati Indian immigrants. They have set up shops and run those.
