Weather in Marco Island

Warm temperatures, cool soothing breezes, clear cloudless skies and plentiful tropical sun make Marco Island a tropical paradise. Though intermittent shower do wet the Marco Island, the average annual rainfall is only 49 inches, most of which takes place in the summer months and early fall time.

The climate over the six miles long and four miles wide, Marco Island is primarily subtropical with a strong marine influence from the Gulf of Mexico.

The temperature of the surrounding Gulf Water ranges from the mid 60's January through March and up into the mid 80's from June through September. The average year-round air temperature is 77 degrees.
