The weather of Vancouver plays an important role in making it an International attraction among the tourists. The climate of the island is predominantly mild allowing the tourists to enjoy the fun in Vancouver to its fullest.

The climate in the island is mainly influenced by the Pacific currents and winds. These currents and winds make climate milder than the mainland climate. The ocean provides the ocean air filled with moisture which gets obstructed by the westerly mountains causing rainfall in some areas. The rich rainforest of the Island is sustained by the rainfall caused by the ocean breeze. These winds which are warmer also helps in keeping the temperature not to dip below the average keeping the climate mild enough to enjoy.

The winds carrying the moisture gets weaker as it approaches the eastern side of the island thus resulting in a feeble rainfall and causing dryness in those areas.

The western coats rarely witnesses snow fall because of the warmer climate. The average temperature of the island ranges from 22 C° in the month of July to 7° C in December.
