Things to Do In Easter Island
Drive around the Easter Island
Due to the small size of the island, it is pretty easy to get around the entire island within a few hours on rented cars available from a single rental agency in Hanga Roa. Those more inclined to peddle around the island can also rent dirt bikes on daily basis. Apart from the rental agencies, tourists can also rent jeeps from their hosts. You can also gallop around the island on rented horses. Whether on cars, bikes or horses you can experience many things to do in Easter Island.

Shop your heart out
A shopper's paradise, the island bubbles with lively shops geared toward tourists, as well as an open market. Take back souvenirs like moai-inspired trinkets to gift your friends and folks. American currency can be used for most transactions. Make cash purchases as far as possible.
Get intoxicated with the local Drink
Donot miss to sample the Pisco, a hard alcohol made from fermented grapes, which is the unofficial drink of the island. For a tequila twist to your drink, you can mix pisco with lemon juice, or order a piscola - pisco and coke cocktail. Though you can have raw pisco as well, it is not advisable.
Excellent dining for the gourmet in you
Dig in the sumptuous fare of local cuisine served at the 25 restaurants in and around the island. Select from the limited menus cataloguing a long list of seafood. For a light snack, you can go to the few "supermarkets" that dot the island selling munchies, limited sundries, booze, etc.
Do not forget to order a Tuna Sandwich at the Te Moana restaurant on the island.
