Firstly, the ferry service can be accessed for getting to Bali from Java. A regular ferry service between Ketapang in East Java to Gilimanuk in the western tip of Bali carries many passengers to the paradise island. Even the ferry services to Padangbai or Benoa in Bali from Lembar in Lombok. These short services takes around 15 to 30 minutes of boat rides. A boat leaves after every hour and a half.

The ferry service runs 24 hours a day. Though slow in pace still a ride on these boats are very exciting. Some of the tour operators offers trip down to different destinations through ferry, MABUA EXPRESS being one of them. This 2.5 hours of fast jet ferry service operates between Bali Benoa Harbour to Lombok at Lembar Harbor.
